By using our website/services and/or placing your order with A1 Dry Cleaners, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Minimum Order Size
The minimum order amount for any service is £20. If the minimum level is not reached, A1 Dry Cleaners will apply a charge for the minimum order amount.
Placed orders not collected
Placed orders not available for driver pick-up within the chosen time slot, will incur a £10 charge added to the respective user account. To avoid this charge, kindly ensure that placed orders are made available for driver pick-up within the selected time slot.
Damaged Property
A1 Dry Cleaners exercises the utmost care in cleaning and processing garments entrusted to us. We use such processes, which in our opinion are best suited to the nature and conditions of each individual garment. Nevertheless, we cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses or defects in materials which may result in tears or small holes in fabric that are not readily apparent prior to processing. We cannot guarantee against colour loss and shrinkage. Or against damage to weak and tender fabrics. Or against damage to ancillary items such as belts, buttons, sequins, beads, ties or zipper pulls. A1 Dry Cleaners liability with respect to any damaged items will not exceed £500 per item or service, regardless of brand or condition. A1 Dry Cleaners will have the right to first repair any item, rather than replace any item, again up to a maximum of £500 per item or service. Any damaged items must be reported and returned to A1 Dry Cleaners for inspection within 24 hours, (one business day). Any items with damage, or missing parts of an item, must be brought to the attention of A1 Dry Cleaners at pick up, or before any service.
Lost Items
Any lost items must be reported within 24 hours or one business day. A1 Dry Cleaners makes its best reasonable effort to track every item that we process and will review all lost items claims on a case-by-case basis. For any items that are determined to be lost by A1 Dry Cleaners the respective garment. regardless of brand/condition, A1 Dry Cleaners will incur a liability of up to a maximum of £500 per item or service. (Original proof of purchase may be required).
Loose Items
A1 Dry Cleaners strives hard to check for items accidentally left in the garments given for laundry/dry cleaning. However, it is not responsible for loose items such as jewellery, watches, cash, buttons, detachable buttons, cufflinks, belts, brooches, strings, laces, sequins, hoods or loose items on garments, etc. We request customers to ensure that they check such items and remove them from the pockets of their garments before giving them for our service. A1 Dry Cleaners is in no way responsible for any damages caused to the garments, due to presence of any aforementioned items in the garment pockets or attached to any garments. It is the client’s duty to ensure that any precautions are taken prior to any garment being handed over to our service.
Personal Property
A1 Dry Cleaners strives hard to check for items accidentally left in the garments given for laundry/dry cleaning. Maximum Storage
If A1 Dry Cleaners is unable to drop off items as agreed, then we will hold your clothes for a maximum of one week. If the period extends beyond that, then A1 Dry Cleaners will charge the customer storage fees of £5 per day.
Pricing
All prices are in GBP (£). If there is any discrepancy between printed and online pricing, the online posted pricing will be applied. All prices are listed on the A1 Dry Cleaners website. For any additional item prices, please contact info@a1drycleaners.co.uk
Late Payment Fee
Payments for all order are due before delivery. A1 Dry Cleaners will charge the customer before delivering the order. If for some reason, payment is not received, or if we are unable to charge the credit card of the customer, then a late payment charge (interest) of 5% (compounded daily) will be applied to the outstanding balance, till a payment has been finalised. The late payment fee is calculated from the cleaning date, till the date of settlement date.
Non-Payment
If for any reason, payment hasn’t been received and a customer refuses/or is unable to pay the outstanding amount, then the account will be sent to our collections agency to retrieve the outstanding balance. No clothes will be released until the outstanding bill including any charges, has been settled in full. If a customer refuses to settle the outstanding invoice, A1 Dry Cleaners has the authorisation to recover their fees, by selling the used clothing to any provider of their choice.
Turnaround Time
A1 Dry Cleaners will make its best reasonable effort to return clothes within 48 to 72 hours of pick-up. However, we do not guarantee turnaround times and assume no responsibility for any damages that may occur due to a delay in service.
Order Cancellation
In the case of a client cancelling an order(s) after it has been picked up and before the service has started; a service fee of £10 will be incurred as a Cancellation Charge. No cancellation is permitted if cleaning service has commenced and in that circumstance, the full costs of the order will be incurred by the client.
Hangers and Bags
If A1 Dry Cleaners branded hangers are used to deliver clothing, then the client has full use of these branded hangers as this helps keep the garments in good shape. However, all hangers should be returned after use, at the time of the next collection of items. All branded A1 Dry Cleaners hangers and bags, remain the property of A1 Dry Cleaners at all times.
